Michigan State University College of Law will host the art exhibition, “Mich-ART@cmu.wmu.msu,” featuring works by undergraduate and graduate student artists Monday, Feb. 21, through the end of April.

The eight-week show will highlight nearly 45 paintings, with photographs, digital designs, drawings and prints by students from MSU, Central Michigan University and Western Michigan University. Each university will present 15 pieces on the third and fourth floors of MSU’s Law College Building.

The law college began exhibiting art in December 2002 with the show, “2nd Overture: MSU Student Art Exhibition,” which incorporated paintings and photographs by MSU students.

In 2003, 59 paintings by professional artists from Bregenz, Austria, were exhibited in a show called, “Bregenz Art Exhibition.” Most paintings were displayed at the MSU Law College and 12 were selected by and displayed in the Hankins Art Gallery in East Lansing.

In the fall of 2004, the college hosted its third exhibition, “An American Show,” featuring the works of Detroit artist Tyree Guyton.
